Small, technology-driven, fast-paced mortgage company (broker) seeking the best and brightest processor to help close our loans. The ideal candidate is very experienced, but flexible enough to adapt to new company methods and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Take loan applications
- Send disclosures/welcome packet to customer
- Assemble package for submission
- Follow-up on loan status
- Create lock expiration reports and reminders
- Underwrite, re-work files if necessary. Consult with broker & loan officer for guidance
- Draw docs, assemble funding package
Requirements:
5 years experience with loan processing
Proficient with Calyx Pointe
Proficient with MS Word & Excel
BA/BS from 4-year college (a plus)
The right candidate is adept at maintaining relationships with underwriters and processors within lending organizations, communicates clearly and has a very strong work ethic. Wholesale underwriting experience is a plus.
Person needs to be VERY DRIVEN and VERY DETAIL ORIENTED
