Join our growth oriented firm in the newly created Resident Relations - Building Coordinator position! Urban Housing is in the business of acquiring, redeveloping and managing mixed-use and residential properties in the multi-family housing industry with thousands of residents already under roof. We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer oriented person to be a part of our dynamic team.




The right candidate shall be self-starting but must also be able to take directions and be a goal oriented person. You must be an outgoing individual and have organization, people, communication, problem solving and exceptional customer service skills to apply.




Your base of operations shall be at our Santa Monica office (though this could change in the future if another location is purchased / leased) and your field of operations is Los Angeles County with the possibility of expanding into the surrounding Counties (such as Orange or Ventura).




General Duties are to work with Management, Maintenance, Residents and Vendors to provide superior service to our clients and tenants.




Qualified candidates should have experience in the home, apartment, retail, and/or hotel industries. You must have either Windows XP program knowledge (Word, Excel, Acrobat Suite) or, if you use a Mac, the equivalent program knowledge. Our office is Windows XP based. It would be especially helpful to have familiarity with Fair Housing laws though these can be learned. Professional communication skills in both ENGLISH AND SPANISH are a must. Please do not respond if you are not bi-lingual as it is essential to being able to complete your responsibilities.




The main duties include:




• Resident Relations and Service


• Scheduling Routine Work and Coordinating with the Vendors, Managers and Residents.


• Preparing Notices (Inspections, 24 hour, 3-Day, Notice to Vacate, etc.)


• Entering Property Work Orders


• Building Related Tasks (parking charts, parking passes, directory updates, notices of events / work, etc.)


• Organizing and helping to maintain all relevant paperwork


• Providing resident follow-up to ensure their residency with our firm is a satisfying one


• Any and all other requests, additions or changes to the above, whether one time or on-going
