Accounting Assistant/Office Administrator

ABOUT THE JOB:
We have an immediate opening for an Accounting/Admin Assistant who will report to the Controller and is responsible for daily accounting and administrative responsibilities. This is a full-time contract to hire position.
Responsibilities
Daily accounting duties include accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
Responsible for daily and monthly financial reporting
Bank reconciliations
Process bank deposits
Assist in HR and office administration
Set up and confirm meetings
Maintain project contracts, legal documents and leases
Provide administrative support to upper management
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
Quickbooks experience preferred
Bachelors Degree preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Excellent oral/written communication skills, organizational, time management and planning skills required.
Must be resourceful with the ability to solve problems, recommend solutions and make decisions.
Must be very detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, multitask and follow up.
Ability to work effectively in high pressure and fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
