PURCHASING AGENT **HIRING IMMEDIATELY***
SCI Corp. (Founded in 1983) is the leading provider of Garment and Shipping Supplies. We have an immediate opening for a Purchasing Agent. The candidate will be responsible for the following:
The candidate must be able to effectively source products domestically and internationally.
Maintain an excellent relationship with all vendors while increasing profitability.
Must evaluate inventory levels and maintain minimum stock levels, quality control, and cost effectiveness.
Requirements
*At least 1-2 years of purchasing experience with excellent negotiation skills.
*Excellent communication (oral and written), courteous, and professional demeanor.
*Must be organized and be able to prioritize.
*Must have sense of urgency.
This is a Full Time position Monday to Friday, hours are from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Compensation is $15 per hour.
