A well established Medical Corporation/Diagnostic Imaging Center which offers a rich history of providing the most advanced medical care in the Los Angeles area is seeking a bright, articulate and enthusiastic administrative assistant with 5 7 years experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee operations by following policies and procedures; offering creative ideas to enhance office procedures and business development
Provide information to referring physicians and patients regarding new brain therapeutic therapy, (TMS Therapy) diagnostic imaging services, scheduling, insurance information, clinical results, and educational programs
Serve as a critical front person ambassador to patients
Ensuring availability of clinical information to physicians and staff members by filing, retrieving records, radiological and other medical reports promptly and efficiently
Organize and facilitate physician educational seminars and business development support materials (e.g. create invitations, PowerPoint presentations, coordinate mailers, catering, set-up, media equipment)
Coordinate intradepartmental communications; facilitate written communications with physicians, vendors, providers and others; maintain email communication with referring physicians on patient results, reports and prescriptions
Generate and compile information for daily reports on patient demographics and treatments, receivables, and product usage
Assist in ongoing research projects; collection of data, creating and managing statistical reports, collaborating with physicians and technologists
Office support includes coordinating physician schedules, transactions with the Business Office, request authorizations for purchases, ordering supplies, copying, faxes, and other general office duties
Qualifications and Requirements:
Good working knowledge of word processing software (Windows), desktop publishing, graphics and database management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; typing 55 wpm required
Excellent oral and written communication skills (including grammar and spelling)
Flexible, detail-oriented team player who can work despite continued interruptions
Multi-tasking with relative ease
Excellent organizational and time management capabilities; accurate attention to detail

Effectively solve problems in a professional healthcare environment
