we currently have open position for diamond wheel molder, and manufacturing assistant. Training for this position will be provided. Only requirement is that candidate be have sensitive hands, good eye sight, lot of patience and coordination. Have lots of patience, good communication skills, and computer literate. UKAM Industrial Superhard Tools is a small family owned business, that manufactures superabrasive tools, specializing in thin and high precision saw blades. This position offers lot of learning and growth potential. The right candidate can quickly advance within our organization. We are looking for someone that would be interested in staying with our company for at least couple of years and will provide training for right candidate. We are located in Valencia Industrial Park Valencia, CA
Industries our tools are used in are Semiconductor, Microelectronics, Solar Energy, Photonics optics, Composites, Ceramics ultra hard brittle materials, Natural and Semi precious stones, and many others. We are rapidly expending and looking for people that would like to become a part of our team. DUTIES:
(process is similar to cooking, but everything is done to super, super high precision and super perfection or the product will be scrap)
all work is done in almost clean room enviroment. Person is dressed in all white appron, with gloves, special cap, and most of the tme wears surgical masc
in controled environment
weighing powders (to micron or sub micron precision)
mixing powders (using turbula mixture machine or by hand using spatila)
loading and spread powders into mold. using a microscope (and special rotating and vibrating spreading fixtues)
Placing molds into hydraulic press
Decompressing mold
cleaning mold (using mold cleaner and acetone) you would have to wear clear mask to protect face
loading blades into oven/furnace
Assisting with packaging, shipping and receiving as needed (must lift up to 20 lbs if needed) most of the time it would be few lbs or less than lb
basic quality control functions (inspect raw materials under microscope). finished goods under microscope, surface analyzer, round test, flatness test etc.
assist with packaging. (finished product is super small and super thin) very sensitive operation
assist with bookeping (mostly data entry if and wheen needed)
additional duties assigned as needed. (possibly assist with assembly of small table top super high precision cutting saw for labs)
Candidate should be team player.
Salary Will vary depending on individual ($9.00 to $10.00 to start) and will grow depending level of experience and performance
