The Westland Industries Group Design & Development office is currently seeking a highly motivated full-time Construction / Development Office Coordinator.
-Organizing and maintaining all logs RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, contracts, change orders, etc.
-General office management work including, printing, organizing, filing, scanning, etc.
-Following up on bids from sub contractors and vendors through email and phone.
-Interacting with City agencies.
-Minimum of 5 years in a construction related industry.
-A general knowledge of construction, plans and specifications, construction bidding process, subcontractor solicitation, and purchasing procedures.
-Experience working and interacting with City agencies (Building & Safety, Planning, Economic Development, etc.)
-Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel and outlook as well as other basic computer skills is required (Experience with Microsoft Project or other construction related software is a plus).
-Detail oriented; able to work efficiently with minimal supervision; the ability to multi task.
-Great organizational skills are a must and the ability to think logically to solve problems and work through a task from start to finish with dependability, dedication and professional attitude.
