Architect, Engineer or Construction Management and LEED Certified preferred

Job Duties: Review final bid and construction documents, review final construction bids and supporting documents, perform constructability reviews, provide or suggest value engineering (VE) methods and VE review, manage construction scheduling services, review and coordinate construction phasing plans, baseline schedule and Contractor updates and “look-ahead” schedules, manage monthly “as-built” schedule updates using Primavera software, produce variance reports, manage project accounting and cost control using a project cost code system, which integrates project costing with the CPM schedule, manage computerized document control and record keeping using Prolog, provide quality control management for administration procedures and construction processes, control requests for information and clarification, submittals, samples, and shop drawings, coordinate with owner's design consultant to resolve construction and design issues, manage field engineering and prepare field directives/change directives, provide change order control and claims negotiations including, review of Contractor price quotations, cost estimating, delay analysis, negotiating costs, and preparing the final change orders, conduct dispute resolution, risk analysis and claims avoidance, direct weekly and various construction meetings, prepare and distribute meeting minutes to all attendees, direct various tenant and other Airport division coordination meetings as needed, including the preparation and distribution of meeting minutes to all attendees, conduct meetings and make presentations to all stakeholders, Airport staff and management, regulatory agencies and others as necessary and determined by provide meeting minutes and all necessary documentation, interface with other Airport consultants on other major on-going studies and projects, as needed and as required, coordinate with all utility companies and approval agencies, , provide oversight and coordination for utility shut downs, safety compliance monitoring and contractor oversight, monitor regulatory agency and Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) compliance, prepare Monthly Reports summarizing the progress of the project, including key issues, current expenditures and budget, schedule and project quality, review construction progress payments, including preparation of monthly payment requests, conduct project closeout administration including coordination and assistance, with the punch list, final inspection, testing and commissioning, record drawings, and “lessons learned” documentation..
Professionals with aviation experience for cost estimating, scheduling, inspection, LEED Administrator, BIM manager, utility coordinator, experience in Prolog, safety consultant, commissioning are encouraged to send resumes ASAP.
