This posting is seeking candidates for a Senior RF Filter Engineer in our Honolulu, Hawaii office.
A demonstrated background in RF and microwave filters is required. Demonstrated experience can include design of fixed frequency LC filters, cavity filters / helical filters, or tunable filters. Typical frequency ranges cover HF through 5GHz. The successful applicant will be able to show experience in not only design aspects of filters but manufacturing expertise including production tuning and electromechanical design.
Other required qualifications include:
• BSEE (MSEE preferred) with 8+ years of directly related industry experience
• US Citizenship required
• Ability to use common RF and mechanical CAD packages such as ADS, MWO, HFSS, Empire3DS, PADS, PCAD, SolidWorks, or Pro/E.
• Ability to use common RF test equipment such as VNA, spectrum analyzer, power meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Candidate must possess excellent technical writing, presentation and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Candidates that possess manufacturing experience with ISO certifications or knowledge of MIL specifications will receive favorable consideration. Candidates that have hands-on experience using precision machinery will receive favorable consideration. Potential to manage technicians.
