Large private label manufacturer is looking for an Assistant Technical Designer to work as an essential part of their production team. This position will work closely with various other technical designers, spec writers, and patternmakers. The job’s primary focus is to thoroughly support all design concepts, assist with preparing basic technical packs, and issue specs in Excel. Some administrative and clerical duties are included as well. Extensive knowledge of measurements, grading, and garment construction is imperative. Must have at least 2 years of relevant apparel experience.
