COMPANY BACKGROUND
Diane’s Beachwear began in Spring of 1962. The first store opened was Mickie’s Swim Shop located next to the Manhattan Beach Pier in Southern California. It was a tiny 150 square foot store opened by Diane’s mother, Mickie Bandle. The store was outgrown in a very short period of time and was relocated to a larger location just one block up.
Diane’s custom made bikinis were the talk of the town. Each customer was fitted right there in the store and the bikini was then hand-sewn just above the store. The daring bikinis were 1” below the waist with crossover, reversible triangle tops which were all the rage in 1962! Little girls could also have a suit custom made to match their mom.
Realizing this company was a unique specialty retailer that was in demand by women, the company began to expand. Diane Biggs took over the company and grew the number of locations to 17 throughout Southern California and an E-Commerce Website. Diane’s tremendous success within the beachwear industry is due to the Company’s true passion for swimwear and dedication to its customer base.

ONLINE COORDINATOR (E-COMMERCE CUSTOMER SERVICE)
Overview: The goal of this position is to take Diane’s E-commerce website to the next level. The main role that this candidate will play is handling all Customer Service calls and driving E-Commerce sales through Clienteling, Social Networking and Targeted Eblasts. Since there are two key players that oversee the Web Team, it is critical that both can wear multiple hats. Experience in E-Commerce, Retail and working with Photoshop is preferred.
- E-Commerce Files: Managing all files associated with the website including and not limited to Internet Agreement Forms, Return Paperwork, Special Order Files, UPS Disputes, Sales Reports and E-Credit Paperwork.
- Customer Service: Assisting all customers with online orders (by phone, email and Live Chat), issuing e-credits and processing returns, tracking shipments, building and executing Targeted Emails and following up directly with vendors on Special Order products.
- Social Networking: Monitoring and utilizing all of Diane’s Social Network Pages including Facebook, Twitter, Blogger, YouTube and MySpace.
- Merchandise: Communicating with buyers on reorders and/or placing orders directly with vendors and working with Product Specialist on product descriptions.
- Reports: Create Monthly Web Report, Calculate Monthly Goal Sheet, Assess and Manage Web Payroll, Monitor Adwords Campaigns and Analytics, Email Daily Goals to E-Commerce team and call-in Nightly Sales Figures to the Owner of the company.
