Business Development Manager




Location - United States, Orlando, FL or Dallas, TX area preferred

As our new Business Development Manager you will be a key member of our executive team with a focus on rapidly growing our client list, decreasing cost of sales, and increasing revenue.




Responsibilities


• Develop and implement a strategic plan for acquiring new data clients to meet sales goals.


• Manage and retain current business clients with a focus on continuous growth and development.


• Identify new verticals and opportunities to rapidly grow our existing customer base.


• Communicate market demands to top leadership and technical team to facilitate our competitive advantage and long-term strategy.


• Identify, negotiate, and close large data accounts.


• Assist executive leadership by providing analytical and economical analysis of the market space to develop competitive pricing and contract offerings.


• Meet short-term sales goals with a continued focus on long-term strategic objectives.




Requirements


• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field required or genuine equivalent experience


• 5 – 10 years of Business to Business Sales experience in a technology related sector - online services and goods, online marketing, or data related experience will be given preference.


• Experience with lead generation and development, “cold calls”, and similar proactive business development strategies.


• Excellent communication skills, ability to converse with board level positions both internally and with clients.


• Strong tech savvy. Knowledge or familiarization of XML, Web Services, Data storage and computing technologies preferred.


• Ability to network and develop contacts in related sectors to expand potential client base. Existing relevant contacts and customers a huge plus.


• Excellent negotiation skills and contract management abilities.




Compensation


• Base salary dependent on experience


• Uncapped commissions tied directly to profit performance
