Customer Support Representative (Online Gaming) (El Segundo, CA)

A CAREER WITH THE MMOG INNOVATOR AND DEVELOPER/PUBLISHER OF LEADING FREE-TO-PLAY ONLINE GAMES.




The Customer Support Representative will provide customer support by checking and answering all assigned submitted tickets as well as reporting issues to the department supervisor for tracking and resolution purposes. Additional tasks could include assisting with stress / beta test preparations or testing of identified issues. This person will perform all tasks assigned according to the company and department policy. The Customer Support Representative will directly report to the Customer Support Supervisor.




This is a temporary full-time position located in our El Segundo, California office with employment being handled by a third party vendor. Shift hours and days may vary as department hours are adjusted. Applicants need to be available to work additional overtime hours and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities:


• Local candidates will only be considered for the position


• Check and answer all assigned tickets based on priority according to the company / department policy


• Investigate and document daily problems / technical issues and disseminate department supervisor for solutions and follow up


• Document and communicate game / technical / investigation issues to department supervisor


• Attend regular team / department meetings


• Any additional tasks as assigned by the Customer Support Supervisor





Qualifications:


• Minimum 1-2 years experience in customer support


• Flexible Work schedule: All employees may be required to work a variety of shifts including nights and weekends. Overtime may be requested during times of high volume due to game updates and product launches


• Possess good computer skills and knowledge of MS Office. Experience with Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Internet Explorer is required


• General experience with Massive Multiplayer Online Game is preferred


• Must be proficient in English spelling and grammar
