The Help Group, the largest, most innovative and comprehensive non-profit organization in the US serving children with special needs, is currently seeking a bright, creative, dynamic, individual to serve as the Director of our “Kids Like Me” programs. "Kids Like Me" includes extra-curricular activities and camps designed especially for children with special needs, primarily on the autism spectrum. The Director will be responsible for the development, implementation, supervision, and administrative oversight of all Kids Like Me yearly offerings including after school enrichment classes, clubs, social skills and other skill building groups, workshops, parent training, support groups, seasonal camps, and more! This is an exciting new position to develop, coordinate, and manage a truly special children’s program!
Requirements:
- Prefer MA, MSW, MFT, Psy.D, Ph.D in psychology, social work, counseling, Special Education, Therapeutic Recreation, or related degree with strong knowledge, skills, and background working with children on the autism spectrum.
- Outgoing, high energy, detail-oriented, with proven ability to multi-task.
- Management and supervisory experience desired.
- Strong community relations and marketing abilities.
- Computer competency.
This is a full time position, 40 hours/week, with a full range of benefits. Licensure hours may be available!
