Overview:
Fully accredited post-secondary career training institute seeks a full-time Curriculum Design Manager to oversee curriculum development and implementation for their online campus.

As we continue to expand our course offerings online, we are looking for a highly-motivated education professional to manage our online course creation process and set the vision for our evolving curriculum delivery. Primary duties and responsibilities:
Oversee online curriculum development and implementation.
Establish policies and procedures for online course development.
Manage, train, and assist all editorial staff and subject matter experts.
Select, train, and coordinate the activities of all curriculum developers.
Provide pedagogical and distance-learning guidance to curriculum development staff and contractors.
Maintain a schedule of course development activities and ensure that all project timelines for course readiness are met.
Make recommendations for adoption of software and classroom procedures to improve the student learning experience.
Review and oversee submission of all degree programs for compliance and completeness.
Create annual short-term and long-term plans for program and curriculum design and creation.
Collaborate with executive management to develop a long-range strategy for online education.
Ensure educational experience meets or exceeds industry students and maximizes student retention
Maintain expertise in tool, systems and new methods emerging for online learners.
Skills and Experience
Masters Degree or Doctorate required, preferably in the field of education
At least five years related experience and education required
3+ years management experience required
Advanced knowledge of distance education and associated learning technologies required
Proven track record of professional success required
Outstanding organization required
Strong multitasking abilities required
Project management required
Strong organizational writing and communication skills
Expertise with MS Office and Doc Formatting
Internet savvy (must extremely fluent with computer / web based work environments)
