The Medical Billing & Collections Supervisor will manage the day-to-day functions and supervision of a receivables department. This includes training, development and mentoring in excess of 25 employees. Problem resolution with payors, customer service issues and all reporting requests, issues and formulation. Management responsibilities include hiring, discipline and performance management. Strong relationship building skills required.
Requirements:
-Minimum 3 years manager experience
-Minimum 3 years of health care industry experience, along with hands-on billing and collections experience
-Superior knowledge of commercial billing requirements, Medicare and Medicaid
-College degree preferred, although not required
-Outstanding Microsoft Excel skillset
-Polished verbal and written communication skills
-Proven problem solving and time management skills
