In this role, the selected candidate will manage the daily operations of the Social Services department. This will include managing patient caseload responsibilities and providing direct care as needed. You will manage and supervise the CVHP Social Services staff including the development and implementation of goals and performance improvement initiatives, as well as the preparation and oversight of departmental budget.

Qualified candidates must have a Master’s degree in Social Work (or closely related discipline) and 2+ years experience in social work/social services, working in a hospital environment. Supervisory experience is preferred. LCSW and BLS license are required. Strong communication and time management skills are essential and the ability to work effective in a team environment is necessary. Knowledge of medical information systems would be a plus. Current CA driver’s license is a must.
