We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Activities Director, an upscale boutique Assisted Living community, located in West Hollywood. We are seeking a dynamic person with a high level of energy that can create ways for residents to participate in activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is creative and enjoys working with the elderly. Ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a residential, assisted living or skilled nursing setting. We are looking for an individual who is experienced in working with the needs of memory impairment, coordinates activities that encourage strength and flexibility of the whole person. Activities job responsibilities include: conduct individual and group engagement activities for residents on a daily basis as well as special community events reflecting monthly themes and holiday events and experience with recreational programs.
