Elwyn NC is a growing non-profit social service organization providing high quality residential care to people with developmental disabilities, behavioral, and skilled nursing needs. Elwyn NC is a subsidiary of Elwyn, which has been providing a full range of specialty services to disabled individuals for over 150 years. Elwyn NC currently operates 13 homes in Northern California and is expanding services to the LA area. Elwyn NC plans to open 2 homes during the first quarter of the 2010 calendar year, followed by 2 additional homes per year, resulting in a minimum of 8 homes in the LA area over the course of the next 4 years. Additional service development, beyond these 8 homes, in the LA area, is expected.
Elwyn NC is seeking a Director to oversee the development and ongoing provision of services for our LA division. Homes will be licensed by the California Department of Social Services and will be vendored by the Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center. The Director must be knowledgeable regarding Title 17 and 22 of the California Code of Regulations. Candidates will possess strong leadership and organizational skills and must possess a minimum of 3-5 years in management, preferably in health or social services. Experience and current certification as an ARF or RCFE Administrator is preferred. BA in Health or Human Services required, Master's degree preferred.
