Empire Safety & Supply is a Full Line Safety and Industrial Products distributor seeking a person to become our Outside Sales person in the Southern Calfornia market. The candidate will report directly to the Vice-President of Marketing.
Primary purpose: To promote the value added benefits of the products and services that Empire Safety and Supply provides. There are existing customers, but a majority of the sales focus will be on contacting and developing new accounts in the region.
Duties and responsibilites: Manage sales territory via face to face contact with the end-users of safety, hazmat, and industrial supplies. Technical suport and product training. Account and Prospect planning and management. Effective time and sales call implementation. Cold calling and account growth initiatives.
Job specifications: College degree preferred with 2 to 5 years of industrial sales with cold calling experience. Professional presentation & excellent communication and follow up skills. Must have a successful proven track record. Technical skills a must..
