We are a web based software company launching our first two products. Our current beta test customers include major networks and corporations. We currently have strong development partnerships and are looking to add an experienced programmer to the mix. Please understand this is an equity opportunity offered as initial compensation for an entrepreneurial minded person. Additional monetary compensation will be offered once sales permit.
Our first piece of software is being beta tested and we are ready to start the second module.
We are in need of an experienced programmer who can wrap up important aspects of our first piece of software allowing us to go to market as well as carry the programming responsibility of our second software component.
Required programming knowledge/experience

-Advanced quicktime, windows media and Flash players
*Must have experience in database development and video players as well as an understanding of browser compatibility issues. Experience in web based applications for media companies and knowledge of codec challenges are a big plus!
The role will entail the following 3 things…
1. Programming needs on current software module:
- Taking current programming environment and prepping it for multiple programmer access.
- Building customer setup process (including payment capture, database set-up wizard and tracking/limits for bandwidth and storage usage.)
- Adding necessary features to meet current client needs (upload progress bar, etc. )
- Cleaning up current visual design
- Minor modifications to search functionality
- Rebuild of current video player (if needed)
- Fixing bugs as they arise
2. Lead programmer for our second software module (spec and build)
- We will discuss further, but this second module is a complimentary piece to the first and uses much of the same database and technology but with different functionality.
3. While in beta test mode we will need you to address customer tech support issues as they arise.
The system is currently hosted in the Amazon Web Services environment. A working knowledge of AWS is very helpful.
It would be a commitment of at least 3-4 months. Since initial compensation is in equity only, the ideal person would program during their evenings or weekends (unless your schedule offers more flexibility). Compensation will be handled with an equity stake in the company of 3% and future involvement as a paid staff programmer as revenues and funding allow.
