AireSpring is looking for an exceptional Software Development PM with a passion for streamlining existing applications as well as building new applications and systems.
The Software Development Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects from requirements to delivery while ensuring the project is kept on time and on budget. The ideal candidate will ensure high quality delivery in accordance with stated business and technical objectives.
This position will be required to anticipate, identify and document key project risks and produce appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
Major responsibilities:
Track development status and schedule
Manage requirements
Manage design, code construction, unit test, code review and integration efforts
Coordinate documentation efforts
Track on-shore and off-shore subcontractor development activities
Manage defects
Define deliverables
Develop standards, evaluate risks and recommend contingency plans
Manage execution of moderate to large projects
Interface with and manage client expectations
Monitor compliance with all policies and procedures
Perform detailed planning
Structure a project
Translate project objectives into detailed project requirements and tasks
Track milestones
Apply significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve software
Recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions
Ensure satisfactory acceptance at end of project
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understand agile development practices
- Deep knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Education Level: Undergraduate Degree
- Hands on experience with MS Project; specifically creating project plans, loading resources, Critical Path optimization, report generation and reconciliation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Operating System (s): Windows CE, Windows 2000
- Program Languages: C#, ASP.net
- MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Project
- Significant design and coding experience in embedded C# & ASP.net
