RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) position for the GMD program. The primary responsibilities of this position is to ensure that the content within the LSA database is up to date and coincides with the data entered in the Computerized Information Maintenance Management System (CIMMS). Perform maintenance task analysis to influence design for supportability and identify required preventive and corrective maintenance support resource needs including tools, test equipment, spares, consumables, maintenance skills, maintenance facilities, and documentation requirements. Work with customers and subcontractors to define specific database and data element requirements and schedules. Provide technical oversight of subcontractor data and integrate into consolidated LSA database. Ability to review and interpret customer and program requirements for logistics support and LSA impact. Review drawings, specifications and ECP's for support impact and coordinate inputs and estimates with affected functions and organizations. Regularly interact with other organizations, customers, suppliers and key technical personnel to stay abreast of emerging issues/developments. Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing. Ability to develop, write and edit reports, briefs and other documents related to product support. Resolve technical and operational issues with minimal review by management.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have direct experience using a MIL-STD-1388-2B based LSAR software tool. Experience with ISS software SLIC is desirable. Prefer computer skills including familiarization with Microsoft Project, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and E-Matrix. Works under general direction. Candidate must be willing to travel.
