I have a room for rent in a 2br/1ba apartment in a nice part of East Long Beach. My place is located at 6th St, between Junipero Ave and Temple Ave.
It’s walking distance to the beach, the park, various stores, restaurants, and coffeehouses (such as Portfolio).
It’s a 5 minute drive to downtown, Cal State Long Beach, and Belmont Shores. My place is also very close to public transportation. It’s in a quiet street, good neighborhood, and my neighbors are really friendly as well. Street parking only.
The room is approximately 11’ x 10.5’ and I provide a dresser, desk, chair and lamp (perfect for students). Shared bathroom.
I’m asking $675/mo on a month-to-month basis w/ 30 days notice. There is also a $675 security deposit.
This includes utilities, wireless internet, DirecTV, and a Brinks security system. You will also have full access to the kitchen and living room amenities. There is a free washer/dryer in my complex. I also have a cleaning service come in regularly to keep the place clean. This is all included in the price.
No pets please. I don’t mind smoking as long as it’s done outside. Absolutely no drugs of any kind.
A little about myself: I’m a 29 y/o straight male. I’m a young professional who works for the City of L.A. I’m very easy going, responsible, friendly, and respect others’ property and space.
The room is available by the end of August. That’s when my current roommate moves out.
