Hi,
I'm departing for LA on October 7 and plan to stay out there for a few weeks combining a wedding and a business trip. If our dates differ slightly and I come back sooner I might be able to crash on the couch or go to a friend's house. Anyhow let me know what you have available and what you need and we'll take it from there!
I prefer a room close to Santa Monica or Venice beach - let me know how many miles you are to be beach and how from LAX.
My room is in the East Village which has great bars, restaurants, and a generally very cool area to live. It's about an 8 minute walk to the F/V train or there's a bus 1 block away that goes to Union Square which is a 15-20 minute walk from the apartment. I am a 36 yr old female and my 3 roommates are nice easy going guys 26-38 yrs old. We have a maid that cleans 1x week. You have access to the eat-in kitchen which has a couch with TV
My room is about 300 sqf, has a TV with Time Warner Cable and would go for about $1,100-$1,250 and I am seeking a room in LA that would be in the $700-$1,000 value range. Note that the pictures are from last year and that the room now has a lot of boxes in it and is not as spacious anymore as before. If you're interested I can take some updated pictures and send them to you. The room has great natural light, queen size bed and a small desk and Herman Miller chair. The house has wireless high speed internet. there is also a B/W printer you could use (I hope you have the same at your place :))
