Join the 20s & 30s Section of the Sierra Club us on a hike into the proposed Cucamonga Wilderness addition along the proposed Lytle Creek Wild & Scenic River. This moderately pace 9 mile long hike gains about 2000 feet along the steep, seldom-visited and beautiful canyon country formed by the Middle Fork of Lytle Creek. We will ultimately reach Commanche Camp that features incense cedars, white firs and black oak in profusion. If we are lucky, above us might just be a family of Nelsons bighorn sheep. You will learn more about how you can help better protect this magnificent area during the hike.
Please go to our website http://sc2030.org or look us up on Meetup.com for time and meeting location and to sign up.
