TrinityCare Hospice is a non-profit hospice agency caring for terminally ill patients with a life expectancy of 6 months or less.
Caring and compassion are the most important qualities for a hospice volunteer. Hospice Patient and Family Service volunteers provide a variety of support to terminally ill patients and their supportive family members including compassionate visits, outings, transportation, assistance with light housekeeping, personal errands, or providing a few hours of relief for the primary caregiver. Hours may be varied depending on the needs of the patient and assigned according to the availability and geographic areas the volunteer is willing to serve.

A Hospice Volunteer training provided by TrinityCare Hospice at one of our centralized hospice offices (Cerritos, Torrance or Van Nuys) must be completed so that volunteers will become more comfortable in working with terminally ill patients.
