While CL may not be the best place to look for someone for a long term relationship, I have made some chill friends along the way. I don't have very high expectations for quality or genuine responses, but you never know when/where you'll meet a new friend or guy to date, so I'll give it a shot and see what happens.
I'm 25, 6'2", white, brown hair, blue eyes. I'm a down-to-earth, loyal, compassionate guy, who tries to enjoy the simple things in life. I have a variety of interests (i.e. from hanging out with friends to tv/movies to cooking to going to museums to camping/hiking/beach/swimming, etc.). I enjoy going out but am not a fan of the bar/club scene. I prefer go to a coffee shop, museum, park, or hang out at home with friends over going to a bar/club. I don't smoke nor do drugs (never have and never will, so please be the same way). I'm a dog person, and if my apartment complex would let me, I'd already have a dog living with me to keep me company. I would do anything for my friends and family, so I hope that friends and family are important to you as well. I think it’s difficult to go through life without those solid friendships/relationships to help you through any difficult time. I live, work, and go to graduate school in the Pasadena area. I'm an educated guy working as I'm finish up my Masters, so I know how to balance my time between work/school and socializing.
I'm looking to meet someone who is willing to get to know each other as friends and take it from there, so NO one night stands. Someone who enjoys hanging out regardless of what we do. A guy who is confident in who he is, knows his own strengths and weaknesses (seeking to improve himself daily), and what he's looking for. Hopefully, he enjoys going outside his comfort zone to try and/or learn something new. I'm looking for a man of substance (i.e. has a personality, character/values, intelligence, etc.) who can make me laugh, not just someone who's "pretty to look at." I’m looking to meet someone who wants a relationship that's based on more than physical attraction or sex. I think strong relationships (friendships/dating/etc.) are based on things such as similar interests, values, an overall deeper connection, etc.
